Sterile compounding is the reconstitution or combination of two or more medications intended to be administered by injections (intravenous, intramuscular & subcutaneous). At NLMP, sterile compounding is only carried out by professionally trained Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians within the pharmaceutical field. We have a certified ISO Class 7 Cleanroom and ISO Class 5 Laminar Airflow Hood on site which allows us to prepare the highest quality products and adhere to the highest standards in compounding as outlined by NAPRA (National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities)
Many commercially available Tablets or Capsules require to be compounded to Liquid dosage forms to aid with swallowing issues. We also carry a wide range of flavours to mask the taste of unpleasant tasting medications to increase compliance & adherence to therapy. We are also able to compound many commercially available medications if they become unavailable or discontinued by manufacturers, or if you require dosage strength adjustments that are not commercially available.
Topical compounding has a variety of different formulations. These include creams, ointments, gels and sprays.
At NLMP, we combine innovative compounding technology and techniques to provide quality customised medications to deliver the highest quality.
We work closely with physicians in finding topical preparations that offer compounds helpful for the following:
Pain Management (Arthritis, Joint Pain, Sports Injury and Neuropathic Pain)
Skin Care (Acne, Rashes, Psoriasis, Dandruff, Burns and Scars
Foot Care (Warts, Corns and Calluses)
Haemmorhoids & Anal Fissures
Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is the replacement of deficient hormones with naturally occuring hormones that the body produces, but have declined due to aging or illness. Hormone replacement therapy offers benefits for menopausal and postmenopausal women as well as androgen deficiency in men. Speak to your physician if you qualify and could benefit from HRT.
Veterinary compounding is commonly used by veterinarians when treating household pets and farm animals. Many medications are not available in the strength required or in a form making administration easy to animals. We specialise in compounding the highest quality sterile and non-sterile compounds with pet favourite flavours.
